I remember reading this book about how the "popular" people at some schools are only "perceived" as popular because a lot of people really don't like them, but don't show that sentiment in public. As much as I'm ambivalent towards Bloom in general, it seems like she has quite a few haters, so she may not be as "popular" as people think she is. Then again, main character-hating occurs in a lot of fanbases. Bloom haters are relatively tame in comparison to other fanbases (like Firestar hating in the Warriors one).
